MemMot is a very powerful memory tool to help you learn a language, memorize historical events or anything else you need to remember.

MEMMOT IS AN AMAZING LANGUAGE LEARNING TOOL!

You can quickly memorize and keep in mind hundred of words and expressions. You can use MemMot in your free time, waiting for the bus, on the subway, or wherever you want. MemMot lets you make the most of all those short periods of time that you have every day. Just add every new word or expression that you come across in class or that you find in your daily reading (at work, on TV, in the newspapers, etc.). Then, if you use MemMot regularly you will be able to memorize and keep in mind all these words or expressions.

If you have at least 10 seconds of free time, you can use MemMot to make the most of them.

- What does MemMot do?

Use it or lose it! In general, the best way to memorize words or any other information is to use them frequently. For example, if you want to remember the word rouge in French (which means red in English) you need to use this word frequently. If you dont use it you will probably forget it in a few days. But the question is when do you use this word if you dont really need it? You need something that forces you to think about this word from time to time. MemMot will help you do that.

- How do you use MemMot?

MemMot is very simple to use. The first thing you need to do is to create the list of words, expressions or sentences that you want to remember (we recommend starting with at least 30 entries). This is very easy. You just need to add these words, sentences or expressions and their translations.

In case of learning a new language, we recommend to add every new word or expression that you come across in class or that you find in your daily reading (at work, on TV, in the newspapers, etc.). For example, you would add rouge and its translation red to the MemMot list and MemMot will do the rest.

MemMot will contain the list of questions and answers that you have previously added. Questions and answers can be used in a bidirectional or in a single way mode. In the bidirectional mode you may be asked what is the translation of rouge (A), or what red (B) is in French. MemMot will use the (A→B) and (B→A) direction randomly. Working in the bidirectional mode is highly recommended in order to ensure the process of memorizing is efficient.

Using MemMot is very simple. MemMot will show you a question, for example rouge, and then you will have to think about the answer. Once you have thought about the answer, you need to press on the Check the answer button. MemMot will then show the right answer. If you were right you have to press the YES button in the Did you remember the answer? block, or NO if you were wrong. Answer honestly and you will see that you can quickly and easily memorize a lot of words and expressions and keep them in your mind.


How does MemMot work?

The MemMot learning process is based on an advanced statistical algorithm that modifies dynamically the likelihood of asking each entry. The goal of this algorithm is to optimize the memorizing process.


What about the privacy of my entries?

MemMot is completely secure. Neither data neither information will be transmitted over any data connection. The only way to extract your data from MemMot is doing a backup. The backup file is available in your iTunes file sharing section.
